magazine storage inspiration

Friday is here! Yay! I don't have big plans this weekend, which is kind of great, since I have been feeling a bit under the weather the last couple of days. However, I'm having a small date night with my husband tonight and tomorrow we will head for the woods, if the weather allows it.

But back to the real subject: Magazines! I think I'm not the only one, who loves finding inspiration in magazines and who sometimes might have a tendency to spend too much money on them. Am I right? I have magazines everywhere, very disorganized in all my sideboards and closets, but seeing all these very cool and creative ways of storing them, I think I need to reconsider my (lack of) storing system. Stacking them, hanging them and even belting them are just some of the awesome ways of storing them, and they also work great in a still life.

I was so lucky to win two of the hyped Mathilda Clahr leather straps on Anu's great blog Decordots a while ago, and I can't wait for them to arrive and to find the perfect place for them. The straps are so versatile and can be used for all sorts of things, but I love the look of magazines displayed in the straps, so I definitely have to try that out.

How do you store your magazines? Any great tips?

And I hope you'll have a lovely weekend.

  1. Hope you are feeling much better now. I love magazines,I love to storage them like every pic you showed.
    Have a great weekend!

  2. Fortunately, I'm feeling better already - a weekend with no big plans can do wonders :-)
    Enyoy your Sunday!

  3. Great inspiration! I hope you'll receive your leather strap hangers soon, lovely ladies from Norsu said they'll email you once the package is shipped (they were waiting for the paper bag to arrive their stock), I hope it's shipped now :) Can't wait to see them somewhere in your home!

    1. Thanks sweetie! I haven't heard from them yet, but no worries - it's always nice to have something to look forward to :D
