more green

30/08/2014

As I wrote yesterday, I have a thing for green these days, so when I found this apartment for sale at Stadshem, I had to share it with you. Just looking at the pictures makes me happy - all that green and natural light! Such a nice and welcoming atmosphere. I also really like the book styling, which you might remember I wrote about a while back

Do you have any nice plans for the weekend? Besides getting over my cold, we have some bigger projects going on in the apartment these days - which is also why, I haven't shown any pictures from the apartment in a while. It's all those finishing touches that we didn't get around to last year, when we renovated the apartment. Really (!) boring stuff like painting doors and window frames, finishing joints and building a closet in the hall way for our washer and tumble drier. Our hope is to finish all these projects before we travel to Japan in October - now that is something I look forward to! So if you have any tips for places to see, eat or experience in Tokyo or Kyoto please let me know :-)

  1. I just found your lovely blog few days ago and I have to say that I love it! Your posts are very inspiring : ).

And for what comes to Tokyo, I love that city! Actually me and my hubby were there in last october-november and that was like a dream. The whole city is so amazing and wonderful. We lived in Shinjuku and I can recommend that area very much. We also liked Shibuya, Ikebukuro, Asakusa and Sumida. And that fake island, Odaiba, is breathtaking! And one must-visit-place which i recommend very much, is Tokyo Skytree -tower in Asakusa/Sumida area. That's the worlds highest tower at the moment and a view over Tokyo is incredible!

If you like tempura, you could try that place called "Tendon Tenya": they use some specific oil with their tempura and tendon, so it tastes sooooo delicious! Even though it's very inexpensive place to eat, the food was so good that we really want to go back there next time when we go to Tokyo (in next spring) : ).

    Have a great weekend!

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words! That makes me so happy to hear! :D And thank you for your Japan tips! We have always dreamt of going to Japan, so reading your comment only makes me looking forward to it even more. We have a couple of places we know we have to see, but otherwise, we actually have no idea where to go or what to do - so your suggestions are perfect!

And yes! I'm a huge tempura-fan, so we definitely have to try that place out :P

Again, thank you so much and have a great weekend!
