Together with the Danish-Italian design duo, GamFratesi, Gubi has transformed a former custom house from 1937 at Copenhagen's waterfront into a new cultural and gastronomic landmark, called The Standard, containing no less than three restaurants and a jazz club. Behind the project is the renowned Danish chef and food entrepreneur, Claus Meyer (also known as the co-founder of Noma and the New Nordic cuisine - you've probably heard about that, right?) and his partner, the world-famous jazz musician, Niels Lan Doky. I think it sounds very promising and judging from the pictures, this is definitely a place I have to try out next time visiting Copenhagen.
