Today, it's been five months since we got married - how time flies in good company - so now that I have shared some posts with you from our honeymoon (still got one about Kyoto up my sleeve though), I thought I would share some pictures from our wedding as well :-) Actually, Mads and I have been together for 10 years on December the 1st, so I guess it was about time we got married :-D

I must admit, I have never had the big childhood dreams about a huge princess wedding (it literally gave me the chills to walk into a wedding dress shop), and we didn't want to spend all our money on a single day either; so we chose to have a small wedding with only the closest family invited. And it was perfect. We held the small party in our apartment and served sandwiches, strawberry cake and the special Danish 'Kaj cake' for our guests. The room was decorated with flowers in old jars, paper balls and DIY tassel garlands (I guess you can spot the colour scheme :-D). For place cards I made macarons with small flags. Everything just went perfect on the day, and we even got to take our first dance on our living room floor, surrounded by our loved ones. It doesn't get better than that :-)
