Weekly wrap-up #24

14/06/2015

Hello everybody! How has your weekend been so far? I've had a lovely weekend without too many plans. Yesterday, we went to the circus. I loved to come there as a kid, so Mads and I have sort of taken up the tradition and he gave me two tickets for my birthday. Today, is just all about the practical (and a bit boring) stuff - preparing for the week to come, which is going to be a busy one. But now, it's time for my weekly wrap-up - showing some of my favourite Scandinavian design news and blog posts from the past week.

decordots
Starting this week's wrap-up with a lovely styling by sweet Anu from one of my favourite blogs, Decordots, - showing how to create a that warm and cosy Scandi-feel by using sheepskin. Head over to Anu's blog to see more pics.

Hop over på Anu's blog for at se flere billeder.

Normally, I associate temporary tattoos with those for children - those hideous, colourful ones that you find in bubblegum wrapping and which looks awful after half and hour. So, when I saw these over at Ems Designblogg, I was quite surprised and I actually think they look awesome. They are designed by Ylva Skarp, who we best know from her beautiful calligraphy posters and textiles. Are you getting a new tattoo this summer?

fashion squad
People in the fashion industry can really inspire me on the interior front as well. I guess their creative mindset doesn't just stop at fashion, and here is the perfect example. This week, the Swedish fashion blogger, model and stylist, Carolina Engman from Fashion Squad, gave her readers a tour in her New York apartment - and it is really gorgeous! More pics here

Flere billeder her

Ending this week's post with two pics from a styling, Lotta Agaton has done for H&M home in a storage campaign, photographed by Kristofer Johnsson. I love how price-friendly products can look like a million, when perfectly styled.

That was all I had for you today, hope you liked it. Have a lovely Sunday!

xx Johanne
